Dentre as ontológicas predições do “oráculo” Orkut, que costuma brindar seus clientes com frases de pretenso efeito e ditos crestomáticos, algumas chamam, às vezes, a atenção por parecerem querer dizer alguma coisa. É o caso do trecho “(...) entre aqueles que não dizem nada, poucos são os que ficam em silêncio”.
Já dizia Sêneca que “Deus dotou o homem de dois ouvidos e uma só boca, para adverti-lo de que cabe-lhe mais ouvir do que falar”. De fato, quantas palavras são desperdiçadas tolamente com conversas vazias, autopromoção, mentiras, justificativas vãs sobre coisas injustificáveis. Inumerável contingente perde oportunidades de ficar calado quando nada tem a dizer.
Benditas sejam as palavras certas. E na falta delas, bendito seja o silêncio!
